경북 주흘산의 식물상

Mt. Juheul is located 36°36'55''～36°56'20'' N in latitude at 127°50'05''～128°15'50'' E in longitude in Mungyeong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The investigated vascular plants consist of total 272 taxa: 39 varieties, 233 species, 169 genera, 77 families, 35 orders, 4 classes. As for the useful plants, there were 136 taxa of edible ones(50.0%), 65 taxa of medicinal ones(23.9%), 30 taxa of ornamental ones(11.0%), 62 taxa of industrial ones(22.8%), 18 taxa of afforesting ones(6.6%) and 2 taxa of poisonous ones(0.7%) respectively. As the above results, there are abundant plant resources in this area. But it needed to protect this area, because of threatening factors such as construction of drama set and/or apple plantation in the adjacent area.
