우면산의 식물상

Mt. Umyeon is located between Seocho-gu in Seoul and Gwacheon-si in Gyeonggi-do. The investigated vascular plants consist of total 116 taxa: 7 forms, 24 varieties, 85 species, 98 genera, 51 families, 28 orders, 4 classes. As for the useful plants, there were 57 taxa of edible ones(49.1%), 36 taxa of medicinal ones(31.0%), 26 taxa of ornamental ones(22.4%), 11 taxa of industrial ones(9.5%), 8 taxa of afforesting ones(6.9%) and 2 taxa of poisonous ones(1.7%) respectively. As the above results, there are abundant plant resources in this area. But it needed to protect this area, because destruction factors of vegetation such as vegetation disturbance and landslide etc.
